Tangram Projects is run by Paul Kershaw and Ash Patel, who between them have a combined industry experience of nearly fifty years. They first met during their employment at one of London’s largest home improvement companies. Paul qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1990 and has worked in the property and construction sector for thirty-five years. In 2008, he set up a small niche company whose objective is to provide a dynamic and professional service in the ever-growing loft and space creation sector. Paul adopts a very hands-on approach from assessing the feasibility of each scheme to preparing quotations and coordinating the projects through to completion.

As attic and loft conversion specialists in North London, North-West London, North-East London and South Hertfordshire, we have built up a substantial level of expertise in all aspects of building and property, which is reflected in our service. Our building teams are experienced fitters covering all aspects from carpentry and joinery, heating and plumbing, roofing, plastering, electrical and belong to the necessary trade organisations such as Gas Safe Register and NICEIC.

A main objective of ours is to maintain constant and regular communication with our customers throughout the process. During the project, we build a great relationship between the customer and the building team and so that the work shapes up to the homeowners’ expectations. On average, the lead-in period to prepare the necessary plans and permissions will be approximately two to three months; and once the work starts, a build period of six to eight weeks would be usual for standard loft conversions, and eight to ten weeks for single-storey rear extensions.
